Group Presentation Progress
The topic for our presentation involves letters. After working on our group presentations for the past two classes our group has made a lot of progress. We basically have all of the slides set up and have divided them out so each group member has three slides to present. Our group is now taking our assigned slides and seeing if there is anything we can add to them to make the presentation even better. All that time we have spent in class working on this project has helped a lot seeing how most or us have different schedules and really couldn't meet outside of class.

Essay 2: Instructions
The next assignment we will be doing is to design a set of instructions on basically whatever we would like. As I sat here typing this post I thought to myself what would be an interesting topic to write a set of instructions for. Seeing how I am pretty hungry at the time of typing this I decided to write a set of instructions on one of my favorite foods which happens to be chicken Parmesan. I feel that not all chicken Parmesan is created equal and that the one I make at home is much better than the anything you can get at a restaurant. One of the challenges that could come along with this assignment is making sure to not forget the small details involved that come so easy to me when making it.

Designing Documents and Websites
While reading through chapter seven one of the things I found interesting and thought was very helpful was their use of examples in explaining proximity, alignment, repetition and contrast. The pictures they gave to go along with the examples were spot on and gave me a better understanding of what to look for on a document when it comes to proximity, alignment, repetition and contrast. I also found it interesting when they were writing about the three principles chunking, queuing and filtering. I like how chunking is more involved with spacing between paragraphs and how queuing and filtering are more involved with images/visuals. Also it was interesting reading this portion of chapter seven because I have never heard the words queuing or chunking when it comes to writing. What surprised me in this chapter is how extensive the study of typography is. From type faces all the way to what justification to use.

Project #1
Hello Everyone
For this project I chose to look at an illustrated manual on freshwater fish that live in Massachusetts. Although it was created in 1969 it is still pretty interesting. It gives an illustration of every fish and a description of the fish. Fishing is a hobby of mine so reading through the manual and writing about it should be fun and informative. It should also make the project easier because it is on something I enjoy.
